The Kylininkai landscape reserve is one of the first reserves in the Vištytis Regional Park. The relief of the Kylininkai morainic hills are characterized by high, large and complex steep hills and ridges, interspersed with small marshy complexes. The relative height of such steep sloped hills such as Ūskalnis and Verstinkalnis reaches up to 50 meters. In the northern part of the territory of the reserve, the Kylininkai morainic hills descends in a clear staircase to the Sūduva plain, which is why this place of the reserve surprises with wide panoramas. At the northernmost edge of the park, there is Šakiai lake, the lowest place in the regional park, rising 155.3 m above sea level. Many call this impressive place "Little Switzerland".
